Being in the wedding biz, Jezziebean and I are privy to many moments, sometimes private, about an engaged couple. In our attempt to find out what a couple is looking for in having wedding planners, we get to ask them about their relationship. A good way to get them to open up is to find out how they got engaged. Lately, there seems to be a slew of new engagements from our friends. It's always interesting to ask "soooooooo...how did he ask you?" And this is assuming that the guy is always the one doing the asking. Then the next question is.."soooooo, what did she say???"...You get a lot of mixed emotions, I'm assuming (since I've never been in that position), but from hearing from others, the guy must be rehearsing it for some time in his head, and the girl, either knows that it will happen or is completely shocked, leaving her speechless perhaps. The ring has been purchased. The wedding has already been discussed with the family. Over dinner one night, he confirmed the engagement.
He said: So are we going to do this...or what?
The proposal was written on a note inside an empty pizza box. She said: So where is the pizza?
